AJ Abdelnour has remained active in volunteer work and youth mentorship programs for several years. For four summers, he worked as a basketball trainer at Get Skillz Basketball in Livonia, Michigan, where he trained young athletes between the ages of five and sixteen. His responsibilities included teaching basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, and footwork, and reviewing game film with players to help improve performance.
AJ Abdelnour also volunteers at Hoopdrillz Basketball Academy, an organization that helps athletes improve through mentorship, accountability, and teamwork.
